What is Partial COD?

Partial COD is a convenient payment method offered by Newcomers Innovations PVT LTD (NCIPL) for our customers. With Partial COD, you can pay a non-refundable partial amount of ₹100 upfront as a shipping and handling fee, and the remaining balance can be paid at the time of delivery (Free Shipping on orders above 300/-).

Example:

Suppose the product cost is ₹999/-. Then You have to pay ₹100/- as a shipping and handling fee for order and rest ₹899/- can be paid in cash when you receive the order.

Why do I need to pay this advance?

The Partial COD system is implemented to ensure a better buying experience for our customers and to filter out non-serious buyers who may lead to significant losses in terms of courier charges. As a low-margin e-commerce website, this approach is necessary for us to maintain our business sustainability. Thus, the Partial COD system has been implemented on our website.

Our Data

30% of cash on delivery orders are cancelled at the time of delivery.

Average courier loss on every RTO shipment in India is Rs 112.

Other variable loss is somewhere between Rs 10-20.

Therefore, overall loss per order in case of RTO is somewhere between Rs 122-132.

Cancellation Policy

If you decide to cancel the order after dispatch, and even if the shipment is returned for any reason, the shipping and handling fee (₹100/-) that you paid in advance will not be refundable. Read more.

Discount Coupons

It is important to note that no discount coupons are valid for Partial COD orders. The advance payment amount remains fixed at ₹100, regardless of any other ongoing discounts or bank promotions.

How to Order through Partial COD

To place an order using Partial COD, simply click on the “Pay Now” button below. This will take you to the secure payment gateway page, where you can pay the advance amount of ₹100 securely.

Payment Confirmation & Order Confirmation

Once you make the payment, it may take us 4-8 business hours or a maximum of 24 business hours (subject to weekends, government holidays, and local disasters) to create a Partial COD order in our backend system manually as per our shipping policy. You will be notified via email. You can also track the order from the Account >> Orders section on our website (using your registered email address to log into your account) once it is created.

Delivery of Partial COD Orders

Delivery of Partial COD orders will take 3-6 business days as per our Standard Shipping Policy.

Partial COD Refund Policy

The refund on Partial COD orders is not applicable. After delivery of the shipment and once we have received the balance amount, you are eligible for our general returns and refund policy; charges for returns are applicable.
